Wingback was founded by Alasdair MacLaine, an industrial designer with a love of minimal, purposeful products. Uninspired by throwaway culture, he set out to create everyday items that would be as functional as they are beautiful, and that you’d want to hold onto for decades, not months.
What began for Alasdair as a small workshop project in Bristol has grown into an award-winning, climate neutral-certified design studio based in the heart of London, and we now have a wonderful community of customers who share the same values as us: an appreciation for quality, sustainability, and things built to last.
